WOODY STILL MISSING

Neighbor's dog found a piece of Woody's collar with the info medallion and bell - collar looked like it was exposed a bit to heat however no real damage - collar looked like it had been frayed/cut - not burned - and on either side of the medallion so that there was just the medallion with an inch of collar on each side. If you see Woody please call me. I am calling for him every day and leaving food for him and Vincent where we lived and will continue to do so. Thanks.

Upon reflection I think that the dogs found the collar (it was a break-away collar reinforced with a bit of elastic to provide a bit of extra staying power to the collar that otherwise was lost daily) and chewed the collar breaking/tooth cutting it on either side of the bell - then took the info part of the collar home! Smart dogs! So I am hoping that Woody is A-OKAY! Thanks for any info!

I may have found the remains of Woody's body on the property. We do have a some feral feline population in the neighborhood, however I think that I was able to determine that the hair color and hair length and body size was that of Woody. He was such a sweet boy that this is devastating. His personality was almost humanlike at times. Very intelligent too. So I keep calling for him and putting food out. If possible please leave his picture up just in case - identifing a completely burned and dead cat is difficult. I probably lost Vincent too. See below. Thanks for your help!

Brenda, we will keep looking for Woody and Vincent, of course. Glad to hear that MIssy is doing better. ~Wildfire Pet rescue

Brenda, could this be Woody? FaceBook Link

I don't think so. The nose is too long and Woody was younger though sometimes you can't tell from a photo. Is this cat still alive and needing a home? Is there a way to meet him in person? Thanks and sorry for the delay in answering this, what with the holidays and all. ~ Brenda Townsend 512-332-1578
